Like most of my other builds, this guitar has a fat neck, top notch hardware and electronics and is relict. This was a light relic, so the body was slightly deglossed, the hardware lightly relict and the neck tinted a bit. Electronics include a Fralin/Callaham tele bridge pickup which Adams loves to the point that he says it is one of the best tele pickups he has ever heard.

I've always built acoustic and electric six string guitars, but when my friend Bob wanted a five string bass I decided to give it a whirl. Honduran mahogany body with a flamed maple top cap. The neck wood is maple from a telephone pole from British Columbia and is close to 100 years old. Bartolini pickups, Hipshot tuners, CTS pots and a Sprague Orange Drop capacitor. The finish is nitrocellulose lacquer with amber toner and is hand polished-all for an aged look.

A newly completed tele that was special ordered. It's totally killer. One piece maple neck, lightweight alder body, TV Jones Filtertron pickup with a master volume and push/pull to turn on the south coil. Callaham bridge, custom Sperzel tuning machines. It looks like a simple guitar, but in the hands of an artist you can paint many pictures.
